first of all, thanks to gerda for the comment...always nice to get feedback on one´s pictures. even if there are slight language barriers ;-) second, i did not provide any background on the image. my first entry and i am more or less just stumbling around....but here we go now: EXIF data: Model : E-10 Software : 42-0120 DateTime : 2001:10:14 13:28:30 ExposureTime : 1/80Sec FNumber : F4,8 ExposureProgram : Aperture Priority ISOSpeedRatings : 80 DateTimeOriginal : 2001:10:14 13:28:30 MeteringMode : Division WhiteBalance : Auto Flash : Not fired FocalLength : 36,00(mm) ColorSpace : sRGB ExifImageWidth : 2240 ExifImageHeight : 1680 Mode : On Focus Mode : AF Sharpness : SOFT Contrast : LOW CompressionRate : 1/4 postprocessing (if you can call it that) consisted of crop, brightness & contrast. can be done (and in this case actually was!!) with any better freeware program.... regards & happy shooting, hg

Your image caught my attention immediately. I have no idea where all these magnificent colored reflections of red, orange and yellow come from, but that does not matter to me. It is the ultimate result that counts. And what I see is an unusual evocation of the many differant mysterious ways autumn reveals its splender to us. Very well done. Congratulations. Hans

a very... weird as well as very very charming picture. And the background (concrete?) granulation seems to act as a ''reflection'' or continuation of the raindrops on the leaf. It''s the splendour of what the elements together with the eye of a photographer can offer to us (sitting on our PC chair :-). There is no doubt about it for me, this has my 10.
